“XPS” extruded board is a hard type extruded polystyrene thermal insulating product made of polystyrene combining with additives using extrusion method. The excellent performances of thermal insulation, high compression, waterproofing make the board superior to conventional thermal insulating material, and suitable for use in new building or retrofit works. 

The board is an excellent thermal insulating material with high compression strength and low coefficient of thermal conductivity. These characteristics are the quality of an excellent thermal insulating material.

High Endurance – It is stable, not harmful, resistant to decomposition and mould. It also has an extremely good and anit-corrosive performance.

Features of XPS:

• Low Coefficient of Thermal Conductivity – Can be as low as 0.027.
• High Compression Strength – It is lightweight, high compression strength board, and it can reach above 350 kpa under low density condition. It can more than satisfy many design requirements with compressive strength of 150 – 500 kpa.
• Low Water Absorption Rate – It has a water absorption rate of less than or equal to 0.1%, much smaller than any other hand-type thermal insulating materials, and can maintain its insulation performance in contact with moisture over long period of time when comparing with materials such as polyurethane or concrete polystyrol boards.
